AFA and FCEF Announce New Scholarships
The Air Force Association (AFA) and the First Command Educational Foundation (FCEF) are establishing two new scholarships to assist members of the Air Force family and Air Force ROTC cadets. A total of $125,000 in scholarships over a five year period will be committed to the following scholarships:
- AFA-FCEF Air Force Excellence Scholarship - provides five scholarships of $3,000 each to Active Duty, Guard, or Reserve members of the Air Force, their spouses or children who are seeking a Bachelors or Masters Degree. It is anticipated that the first awards will be made in the summer of 2008. Click here for details on this scholarship.
- AFA-FCEF ROTC Scholarships - provides two scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each to Air Force ROTC cadets who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the STEM subject areas. The awards will be determined on the basis of both academic merit and financial need. Air Force ROTC Headquarters will assist in the selection of the award recipients.
