Scholarship donations are generally a one-time donation renewable upon agreement by the donor. Donors may play a key role in determining criteria. Recipients will be selected and awards will be applied as established with the donor. Donations of $1,000 or more will receive an annual report on their scholarship and award recipients.

Endowments to benefit students may be established with a contribution of $25,000 or greater. Payments may be made, as determined. Investment of the endowment is managed by the Careers in Aviation Foundation Board of Directors. The investment policy established by the board is designed to protect the purchasing power of the gift over time and to provide steady amounts of spendable income. Recipients will be selected and awards will be applied as established with the donor. Donors will receive an annual report on their scholarship endowment and award recipients.

Careers in Aviation, the U.S. Department of Education, and numerous higher education universities work together to match the right student to the specific requirement requests made by the donor.
Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Careers in Aviation Scholarship Committee or by a designated committee according to the donor's wishes. Donors may play a key role in determining criteria.
Donors may also consider cash or in-kind support toward operational expenses.
