Sedgwick Hines, alumni of Purdue University, understands the financial hardships students encounter during their enrollment in school. Sedgwick received over $90,000 in the form of scholarships, grants, and fee remissions to help pay for his education and flight training. He recognizes one of the biggest challenges students struggle with is the increasing costs of college tuition, books and supplies, and living expenses.
Much of what you are about to read comes from the valued learning experiences Sedgwick has generously provided. His advice to students is to apply as many scholarships as possible through continuing to meet the eligibility requirements. He attributes much of his success in following his childhood dream to having a supportive family and group of friends. Mr. Hines graduated from Purdue University in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Technology and currently a Captain for Continental airlines.
