There are various sources that can assist your student with paying for his/her education. Your student should create a clear plan and outline of the sources that are available.
As your student prepares to start the search, assist with the use of time management to apply to as many scholarships that he/she might be eligible to receive. It is important to carefully read the eligibility requirements for each award. Applying for scholarships are obliviously not eligible to receive takes time from applying for those your student may be awarded.
Begin the search in your student's surrounding area since many scholarships come from local businesses, private foundations, and community organizations. Many businesses and organizations send announcements and applications to high school teachers and guidance counselors in the fall.
